The Millicent Saleyards has finished 2021 on a high note with Thursday’s sale achieving both high prices and throughput.
In a similar result to the previous fortnightly sale, more than $1.6m will flow into the pockets of local producers.
There were 730 head yarded with an average of almost $2200 achieved.
The average per kilogram paid was $4.18.
Owing to the customary festive season break, there will be a four-week interval between Millicent sales.
The first for 2022 will be on January 6.
