Scholes withdraws from election race

Aformer paramedic has ended his bid to unseat sitting Liberal Member for Barker Tony Pasin at the mid-year Federal poll.


Nowadays a business operator, Cody Scholes had won endorsement from Pauline Hanson’s One Nation Party in December.


However, a social media post on Thursday from Mr Scholes stated his views were now at odds with the party’s actions.


The Mount Gambier resident’s election manifesto had references to greater government expenditure in regional areas on health, roads, infrastructure and housing.
