The SE Voice has lent Gold Category support for this year’s Millicent Business Community Association 2021 MBCA Outstanding Business Awards. After COVID protocols led to the cancellation of the MBCA Outstanding Business Awards last year, the 2021 gala event will be staged at the Millicent War Memorial Civic and Arts on August 21.
The SE Voice is the region’s only locally-owned media business and its sponsorship has been warmly acknowledged by MBCA chairman Lee Morgan.
“The Gold Category support will assist in the running of our tenth awards, and will be acknowledged in all of our advertising, and during the presentation of the awards,” Mr Morgan said, “We are very proud of the way this Outstanding Business Awards process has grown and the positive effect it has on the business sector, and we are particularly excited this year the SE Voice newspaper is supporting this initiative together with other media, local government, business and the tourism industry.
“I also acknowledge The SE Voice’s support as the prize giver for Retail Business Category and an advertising package of up to $500 for the prize winner. “This gala event on August 21 will bring the community together to celebrate business growth within Millicent and surrounding areas. “The roll out of posters, and the awards voting process has commenced and will conclude July 11.”
