Services build tradies connection

Tradies are invited to a free breakfast at Banner Mitre 10 Millicent on Thursday from 8am.

They can call in on their way to a job and grab an egg and bacon roll cooked by the Millicent Lions Club.

The Wattle Range Suicide Prevention Network has arranged for Jeremy Forbes from Hope Assistance Local Tradies (HALT) to be there and available for an informal chat.

It aims to build a bridge between existing support services for people at risk of suicide and the local community.

That is, to facilitate the spreading of information and raise awareness of groups such as Lifeline and Beyond Blue on a national level and local health organisations in smaller communities.

Organisers appreciate the help of Banner Mitre 10 Millicent, Millicent Lions Club and the Mount Gambier and District Suicide Prevention Network.
