Hot weather greeted the Sporting Clays competitors who nominated for the South East Field & Game Association’s final event of the year.
The 50 target event at Burrungule Park was sponsored by South West Freight, South East Vets and Whitty Engineering.
Jeremy Kent rounded out an outstanding year for the Millicent sporting shooter by shooting 50/50 on the Ken Atkin designed course to claim the Dunn’s School of Shooting High Gun.
Competition was tight in all grades and categories as competitors fought to take home hams and turkeys supplied by Collins Court Butchers for their Christmas tables.
Christmas dinner was enjoyed by members after presentations with meats supplied by Sheltons Butchers.












MONTHLY HIGH GUN WINNERS
The Monthly High Gun winners from the 2024 Sporting Clays season at South East Field & Game Association.
Competitors gathered at the Christmas shoot at Burrungule Park to contend the Champion of Champions shoot off.
With Jamie Dunn and John Younger unavailable, competitors included Declan Wright, Jeremy Kent, Ken Atkin and Danny Bellinger who were joined by the wildcard competitor in Junior Reece Fleming.
Twenty targets shot in the old style format presented competitors with a tough challenge.
Kent and Atkin tied on 19/20 and needed a sudden death shoot out to determine a winner.
Kent duly prevailed on the simultaneous pairs that were presented to claim the Champion Of Champions.
