Social table tennis returns

Social table tennis is returning to Millicent on January 8 after an absence of several months.

It is an initiative of Millicent and Surrounds Residents and Friends and the Millicent Squash Club. The collaboration began in early 2023.

Spokesperson Simone Berry said matches will again be played in the relaxed atmosphere at the Williams Road premises.

“It does not matter if you’re a first timer or an old timer, everyone is welcome to come out and have a hit of the ball, have a cuppa and catch up with some old and possibly new friends,” she said.

“Come and play as many games as you like either individually or team up with someone.

“Social table tennis will be played every Monday from 10am till midday and we ask for a gold coin donation to participate.”
