Mount Gambier Softball League’s Friday night Remembrance Day game led the red-hot Demons to come away with their third win in a row, defeating Warriors 22-1 in a quick match.

With some of Warriors’ strongest batters away, the Demons took advantage and managed to score runs innings after innings.

Warriors’ Mel Chuck was busy making good plays at shortstop, including taking a fly ball from Demon Chelsea Feast.

Young Warriors player Annabelle Searle was unable to make an impact with the bat but executed an amazing play from centrefield into second base for a great out for her side.

Demons coach Kezia Feast and Billie Jones managed a whopping 4 safe hits each with Jones hitting a massive three bagger in the third innings.

Demons pitcher Billie Jones and catcher Em Hart are proving to be an unstoppable duo so far this season with the pair getting three back-to-back outs at the batting box in the second innings.

Demons will be looking to carry on this form against Wanderers next week.

Demons’ safe hits were Billie Jones and Kezia Feast with 4, Em Hart with 2, Cindy Burford and Steph Chant each with 1, while Warriors’ safe hits went to Linda Dodds, Erin Chaplin and Mel Chuck with 1 a piece.
