Star Millicent midfielder Harry Tunkin is heading to Kingston for the 2025 season.
The multiple premiership player is coming off the back of a great season in the new Limestone Coast Football Netball League
He won the Corcoran Medal as Millicent’s best and fairest and shared the Brian Hennessey Memorial Medal as the new league’s champion player.
He had first pulled on a Saints jumper as an Under 12 in 2011 and has since represented the club in 220 games.
Numerous representative honours have come his way and he also played with SANFL zone club Glenelg.
There are now nine Millicent premiership players who have signalled they will be leaving McLaughlin Park over summer for fresh challenges in 2025.
Kingston is known as the Saints in the Kowree Naracoorte Tatiara Football League and it has not won a senior premiership for 40 years.
The seaside club is looking to make amends with high-profile recruits.
“Harry Tunkin will be an exciting addition to the team and the Kingston Football Club would also like to welcome Ben Kennedy,” a club spokesman said.
“Kennedy has 40 AFL games to his name with Collingwood and Melbourne.
“Most recently he’s played in Myponga’s grand final win in the Great Southern Football with a best on ground performance.
“So, we’re obviously very excited to see what he will bring to the Saints next year.”
Kennedy and Tunkin will join new Kingston playing-coach and former North Adelaide premiership star Alex Barns.
