Stolen household items await collection

Asignificant amount of presumably stolen household items remains in storage awaiting collection at the Millicent police station.

According to police, the items were stolen in a crime spree involving break-ins at numerous Millicent and district properties earlier this year.

Police arrested and charged a 33-year-old Millicent man with these offences and he was granted bail.

The man then allegedly breached bail conditions and was taken back into custody.

He is due to appear in court on February 8.

A police spokesperson said most of the items had been claimed.

“Members of the public are asked to please arrange a time with officers at the Millicent Police Station to view the recovered stolen items,” the spokesperson said.

“Anyone who has further information that may assist the investigation is asked to contact Millicent Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.”
