Student voices heard

Five Limestone Coast students will this weekend compete in the Rostrum Voice of Youth public speaking competition semi-finals in Adelaide. Amity Sheedy from Mount Gambier High School and Grant High School’s Ashiah Earl Yeates will contest the junior section.

Zachary Pope from Naracoorte High School, Grant High School’s Chelsea Ray and Mount Gambier High School’s Marni Black will contest the senior section. All five won their way through recent local heats and will now compete with students from Adelaide, other SA regions and the NT for the right to represent their school at the SA/NT Zone Final.

The Zone Final will take place in the House of Assembly in Parliament House on June 26. This year the National Rostrum Voice of Youth Finals will be also held in Adelaide on July 31.
