Students’ fresh cuts raise cancer funds

There was the buzz of excitement – and hair clippers – as a group of local students gathered to lose their locks for charity.

The St Martins Lutheran College Gymnasium was buzzing with excitement as students gathered to witness an unusual lunchtime event.

Year 12 students Caleb, Cameron, Lucy, Joshuah and Justin – along with Kat Cooper from the administration team, volunteered to have their hair chopped or shaved to raise funds for the Cancer Council Australia as part of Cut4Cancer.

The event drew a supportive crowd of peers cheering on the participants as they chopped their hair for a great cause.

The fundraisers sent a special thanks to Edie and Bridget, the talented hairdressers who generously donated their time and expertise to make the event a success.
