T-Rob ready to rock in 24

The Castec Rural Pioneers are excited to announce the return of long-time fan favourite Titus Robinson.

Robinson is a 201cm power forward hailing from North Carolina in the United States who returned to the Pioneers in June last year, strengthening the 2023 roster.

He has had three stints with the Pioneers dating back more than a decade, when he commenced his professional career as a Pioneer before a successful career throughout the world.

In the 2022 NBL1 season Robinson shot at 50.23% from the floor averaging 14.36 points per game.

He has also shown his value to the team with 6.64 rebounds per game.

Head Coach Richard Hill said he was excited with the re-signing of Robinson, who is committed to the Pioneers and is going to call Mount Gambier home.

“His commitment to excellence is a great example to the group, particularly our younger players,” Hill said.

“Titus is a tremendous two-way player, and I’m confident he is going to have a great season in 2024.”

The Castec Rural Pioneers and OneFortyOne Pioneers will commence their 2024 seasons in April.
