Take away network trouble – updated

Maccas was temporarily off the menu as the Golden Arches experienced a nation-wide network outage.

McDonald’s stores across Australia were unable to take orders this evening, including the two in Mount Gambier from around 5pm to 7pm.

It is being reported that a global computer server crash meant the restaurant giant was unable to take any orders or serve any food.

“McDonald’s restaurants are experiencing an IT issue that’s impacting their ability to process orders,” a McDonald’s spokesperson said.

“Our team is working to rectify the issues as soon as possible and we thank customers for their patience.”

It is being reported that Aussie stores have temporarily closed while the systems reset, with stores across New Zealand also impacted.
