Teamwork makes the dream work at Hatherleigh

Teamwork makes the dream work at Hatherleigh

Hatherleigh’s A Grade netball team will be led by two coaches in 2021 with Kerri-lee Bromley and Tegan Merrett both taking charge.

Bromley has been a popular Senior and Junior coach with many years of experience in both the Mid-South Eastern and Western Border competitions.

She has also led at representative level and is highly regarded and respected with a decorated career.

Bromley applied to coach the A Grade with an exciting concept to team up with a new player to the club.

Merrett has demonstrated lots of enthusiasm and her overall netball knowledge will be beneficial to the Eagles’ on-court structure.

She has played over 300 games in her junior and senior career for Port MacDonnell and has shown her ability to lead and inspire others.

Merrett has won many accolades in her time, but 2019 was her best season yet, placing third in the Mid-South Eastern medal count, rep- resenting the team of the year, the league at the state country championships and winning A Grade best and fairest for Port MacDonnell.

After spending two years in the UK playing and umpiring, she is eager to coach at A Grade level in the Mid-South Eastern competition.

Hatherleigh looks forward to the duo’s combined experience, skill, drive and enthusiasm to hopefully bring senior success in 2021.
