Tenison Woods College hosted its 2024 Dux and Academic Awards Ceremony, welcoming back last year’s Year 12 graduates and recognising the outstanding achievements of students across the college community.
The ceremony, held during the college’s first school assembly for the year, was a momentous occasion to celebrate the academic excellence of the Class of 2024.
Many of the college’s newest old scholars who achieved exceptional ATAR results were in attendance to receive well-deserved recognition.
As part of the ceremony, students present were awarded certificates of recognition, honouring their dedication and hard work.
The event also highlighted the achievements of current Year 8-12 students who excelled in their academic pursuits last year, further cementing the college’s commitment to fostering excellence at all levels of education.
The highlight of the ceremony was the recognition of the college’s 2024 Dux, Max Patzel.
Max, whose academic excellence set him apart as the top student of the Class of 2024, was presented with a special medal to honour this remarkable achievement.
Principal David Mezinec said it was a privilege to acknowledge the dedication, resilience, and hard work of students.
“Celebrating the success of both our graduates and current students is a reminder of the outstanding academic environment we continue to foster here at Tenison Woods College,” he said.
“We are incredibly proud of their achievements and look forward to seeing what the future holds for them.”
