Theatre lifts curtain on major makeover plans

After 40 years standing centre-stage in the heart of Mount Gambier the Sir Robert Helpmann Theatre is gearing-up for a makeover.

A master plan has been developed In consultation with the community and with the help of architectural firm Grieve Gillett Andersen to transform the arts centre.

The draft plan was launched last night, after The SE Voice went to print.

Interested community members were invited to learn about the plan at a gathering at the Sir Robert Helpmann Theatre, while the event was also livestreamed on YouTube.
