Tiny town Big award

Robe was announced as the winner of the Tiny Tourism Town of the Year award on Friday.

They are awarded each year by the Tourism Industry Council of South Australia.

Robe District Council chief executive Natalie Traeger said her town had a double reason to celebrate.

“Thanks to the incredible support from our community, visitors and fans across the state, Robe has also taken out the SA’s People’s Choice Tourism Town Award,” Ms Traeger said.

“These awards are a true reflection of what makes Robe so special – our stunning coastline, rich history, vibrant local businesses and the warm hospitality that keeps people coming back.

“A huge thank you to everyone who voted and to all those who make Robe the beautiful, welcoming destination it is.

“This recognition belongs to all of you.

“Come celebrate with us – there’s never been a better time to visit Robe.”
