HOLLY SMITH – LCFNL – Junior Netball
AN ICY round nine saw the Cats’ 15 & Under side go down to Millicent by 33, the same margin as the first time the teams met in round two – the final score 13 to 46.
The second quarter was the standout and most productive for the Cats’ girls.
This quarter saw shooting combination Adele Murphy (GS) and Renee Gorman (GA), scoring majority of their goals.
The defensive pressure of Chloe Kurzman (GK) and Ylana Grigg (GD) won numerous turnovers throughout the entire game; some poor decision making with the ball meant we rarely capitalised .
Brooklyn Mutch, Isabella Luers and Stacey Edwards shared a three-way swap between WA and WD, all working hard and playing their role well.
Captain Marlee Robbins held the C position for the entire game, working tirelessly to provide passing opportunities down the court.
