Tradies work through break

There will be no Christmas break for a group of tradies working on the construction of the $10m office in Millicent for Wattle Range Council.

The contractor has advised council the site will remain open at the height of the festive season.

The December monthly council meeting was told the office project remains on schedule for completion by July.

The meeting was closed to the public when matters relating to solar panels for the new office were discussed.

The agenda stated the matters related to project estimates which could prejudice the commercial position of Wattle Range Council when it goes to tender.
