‘Unbreakable farmer’ helps grow resilience

A remarkable guest speaker dubbed ‘The unbreakable farmer’ will appear in Millicent on March 26.

The Wattle Range Suicide Prevention Network is sponsoring the visit from the motivational speaker and Victorian dairy farmer Warren Davies.

His free talk will start at 7pm at the Millicent War Memorial Civic and Arts Centre and it will be followed by a supplied supper.

Mr Davies is not your average farmer, his eventful life has tested his resilience, persistence and determination, had a massive impact on his young family, relationships and finances and made him the farmer he is today – The Unbreakable Farmer.

His keynote topics are centred on resilience, persistence, determination, leadership and wellbeing and are relevant to all ages and communities.

The ability of Mr Davies to engage with individuals or organisations is through the journey of him piecing back together his life and the life lessons he learnt along the way.

His down to earth approach makes his story and strategies relevant whether you are from the country or the city, a farmer or the CEO of a large corporation.

His authentic, inspiring and sometimes confronting presentations are filled with take home strategies developed from his business and life journey, which his audience can implement in their day to day life to overcome challenges or pick themselves up and keep moving forward.

His message is simple and so very important at a time when stress is seen as normal and depression is commonplace.
