Volunteer appointed JP

Prominent service club member and Millicent resident Beccy Field has recently been appointed as a Justice of the Peace.

Ms Field is best known for leadership of Lions and Lioness clubs in Millicent and Mount Gambier.

Originally from the United Kingdom, much of her working life was spent at the KCA Millicent Mill.

She was presented with life membership of the South East Primary Schools Music Festival (SEPSMF) in 2013.

The public is able to ask Ms Field to witness documents at set times at the Millicent Library along with fellow long-serving JPs Michael Bleby and Denis Clifford.

Mr Bleby has recently had a 10 year extension to his JP authorisation.
