Wattle Range Council elected members and senior staff recently had a “sneak peek” of the interior of their new $10m office in Millicent.
Wearing Hi-Vis jackets, they posed for a photograph in what will be their meeting chamber.
Afterwards, they held a 2025/26 budget preparation closed workshop at their current meeting chamber in the Millicent Library.
Staff are expected to move into the purpose-built facility on North Terrace in the coming weeks once all clearances have been obtained.
If past practice is followed, the walls of the meeting chamber will have photographs of His Majesty the King as well as past councils, mayors and chief executives.
