ON WEDNESDAY, 4 June we played a Stableford round with Maurice Faroe (9) winning with a score of 38 points from Ewan Herring (13) on 34 points.
Nearest the pins went to Noel Fitzgerald on the 2nd and 8th, Maurice Faroe the 13th, Jack Tscharke the 17th and Tyler Vise took second shot on the 9th.
Tyrepower Award went to Richard Layley.
Last week was another Stableford round with Ken Dancey (19) winning with 38 points from Murray Frost (13) on 36 points.
Nearest the pins went to Roy McCallum on the 2nd and 8th, Gene Thompson the 13th, Rob Muller the 17th and Matt Smith took second shot on the 9th.
This week’s Tyrepower award went to Gary Russell.

Saturday
ON SATURDAY we had the June monthly medal stroke round with our recent club champion Brad Talbot (2) winning with a score of 74 from one of our youngest members, Haydyn O’Connell, runner-up on 74 on a countback.
Nearest the pins to John Matthews on the 2nd, Gary Carlin ton he 13th and Murray Frost on the 17th.
The club is undergoing repairs over the next few weeks following the hailstorm in October; hopefully this will not interfere with our golf days.
