Deadly crash case reaches youth court

Legal matters involving a Millicent youth accused of causing the death of three members of a prominent Millicent family by dangerous driving in 2020 continued in the Youth Court in Adelaide on Tuesday morning.

The two-vehicle collision near the radio tower on the Princes Highway at Suttontown claimed the lives of Ned and Nan Walker and their daughter Sue Skeer.

Youth Court judge Penny Eldridge heard legal argument from the prosecution and the defence.

The youth was excused from being present at Tuesday’s hearing.

He is being represented by veteran Adelaide barrister Bill Boucaut S.C.

The matter is set to go to trial next month by judge alone.
