Nail-biting encounters ahead

Welcome to round 6 of the Mount Gambier Netball Association season.

It will be a nail-biting encounter when Intruders and Hobitz go head-to-head this Saturday afternoon.

Intruders are sitting atop the ladder with Hobitz falling only a position behind.

The Intruders team is so far undefeated season while Hobitz has only lost one, thanks to their fast-paced, quick play.

These two are the teams you want to beat but their playing style and skill set shared between the two is top level.

The footwork, leading, communication, and passes between the teammates is a great standard.

The defensive match ups will be a highlight of the game.

With Hobitz having a bye last week, so they would be training hard in preparation for this tough matchup this weekend.

The nervous wait will be over when it takes place on Court One at Olympic Park at 2.45pm.

ZODIACS V SAINTS

Court Two will host another great match up between Zodiacs and Saints.

Both of these teams are also tough competitors and the match sure should be a good one.

The trait to admire about both sides is they refuse to give up but know when to be hungry for the netball and to get it into the goal ring.

Zodiacs is coached by Tamara Ferguson and the Saints side is coached by Nicole Forrest, two coaches who know what they want from their teams and are dedicated.

From watching the Saints Vs Vicis match last Saturday, the Saints defensive side was fierce from their intercepts, but the Zodiacs offensive and defensive outfits seem to be going well from what Ferguson said recently.

The game should be intense as Saints will be fighting to stay in their third-place position on the ladder while the Zodiacs will be trying to win their second game of the season and try and work their way back to the position.
