Late Millicent mother-of-three Synamin Bell was remembered at a public rally on the steps of Parliament House in Adelaide on Saturday morning.
Millicent man Cody James Edwards, 25, is alleged to have murdered the 26-year-old at her Millicent home in March.
There were five women killed in tragic circumstances in South Australia in 2022 with Ms Bell and three others allegedly murdered at the hands of a man known to them.
The weekend capital city rally was called the Pay Our Respects Memorial and it has been held each year since 2018.
Memorial event organisers said the unique event shines a spotlight on the issue of gendered violence.
Guest speakers were Minister for Women and Prevention of Domestic and Family Violence Katrine Hildyard and Shadow Minister for Women Michelle Lensink.
Meanwhile, a further step in the court process involving Mr Edwards will take place next month.
Appearing from custody via video link in the Mount Gambier Magistrates Court on December 19, Mr Edwards again made no application for bail.
He was ordered to reappear in the Mount Gambier Magistrates Court at 2.15pm on March 20.
