Keith had to work hard for their victory on Saturday over Padthaway.
The Lions took it up to the Crows and led for the first half.
Bad kicking in front of the goals hurt Padthaway in the third quarter and the Crows were able to edge themselves into the lead in the fourth quarter to get across the line by eight points.
Blake Read and Billy Wade did some damage for the Crows in the forward line.
The Crows duo combined for nine goals in the victory.
Ryan Bartlett, Riley Wilsdon and Blake Read were named as the Crows’ best players.
Tom McLennan and Will Rivers kicked three goals apiece to try and get Padthaway the victory.
Mitchell Cotter, Jacob Fiebiger and Thomas Edwards were the Lions’ best players.
Kingston won the battle of two undefeated teams when they defeated Border Districts by 10 points in a close tough encounter at Francis.
Kingston led at every change, but the margin was never big enough to count out the Eagles.
The Saints had a three-goal lead at halftime and a 19-point lead at the last change and just held on despite not scoring in the fourth quarter.
Jarryd Hill and Todd Lockwood proved to be great focal points in the forward line for the Saints as they kicked three goals each in the victory.

Mark Quinn tried his best for the Eagles with three goals and was assisted by Luke Nicholas and Dylan Schoenmakers in front of the goals as they kicked two apiece.

Naracoorte won a tough tight contest against Penola by 15 points.
The Eagles were much better than in round one and they pushed the Demons during the game.
Penola always plays better at home and was only eight points behind at the long break.
The Eagles were within striking distance of the Demons during the second half, but could not catch the visiting team by the end of the game.
Zac Peake kicked four goals for Naracoorte in the victory and was assisted by Bart Nolen, Rory Taggert and Sam Willson in front of the big sticks as they slotted through three goals each.
Matt Willson, Sam Thomson and Keenan Jacobs had big games for the Demons.
Penola did not have a standout force in front of the goals but they had five players who kicked two goals.
Drew Clayfield, Matthew Ferguson, Brodie Foster, Garret Ha and Bradley Merrett were able to get multiple goals on the board.
Mundulla overcame bad goal-kicking to defeat their arch-rival Bordertown by 27 points in their clash on the weekend.
The Tigers had a hard time putting the ball through their goals for most of the afternoon and had even kicked 1-10 by halftime.
Bordertown led by 10 points at the long break.
The Tigers straightened up in the second half to kick enough goals to overcome the Roosters and get their win/loss record to 2-0 after two games this season.
