Webber tees up stroke victory

In lovely weather conditions 16 women played a stroke event on the short course at the Millicent Golf Club.

Kathy Webber’s nett 71 secured her the A Grade win, while Bronwyn Clarke was runner up with nett 72 on countback.

Karen Altschwager won the B Grade with nett 63 with Sharne Peacock runner up with nett 65.

The 9-hole comp, back nine was also won by Sharne Peacock with 31.5 on countback. The ball winners were: Bec Shanks 67, Lois Tilley 71 and Heidi Muhovics 72.

Nearest the pins went to Mary Winser (3rd), Kirsty Bailey (second shot 18th, 0-14) and Bec Shanks (second shot 5th, 22-40).

Birdies were scored by Debbie Tincknell (4th), Karen Altschwager (17th), Kathy Webber (4th), Bronwyn Clarke (12th), Mary Winser (5th) and Karen Lock (10th).

Bec Shanks also shot a hole in one on the fifth hole.
