Naracoorte Red 42 d Lucindale Roos 40
In another close rubber for the Lucindale Roos, Naracoorte Red proved too strong in the end, winning 42 games to 40 in Southern Ports Tennis Association action on Saturday.

It all came down to the singles between Charles Bruce and Angus Redding with teams tied at 36 games all.

Angus was able to hold 6-4 to secure his team’s victory.

All matches had been close all day.

The improvement from the juniors since the start of the season has been amazing.

Kingston 49 d Naracoorte White 20
It was a tough day for Naracoorte losing a few players to illness before the games even began.

Thanks to Kingston’s Jack Starling for filling in for Naracoorte.

Kingston was too strong right across the board on Saturday, having some convincing wins.

There was some excellent match play from both teams and it was so nice to hear and see good sportsmanship from all players.

Pinky’s party pies were a real hit for morning tea.

Naracoorte Blue came to play with an experienced side and pushed the developing Koalas team to lift.

Well done to all with great rallies and close games the spectators on the hill loved to watch.
