Comments fuel Robe request

Adverse comments have been made about the appearance of a former Robe service station and roadhouse which closed in 2022.

Robe District Council chief executive Nat Traeger said she would like to note that her council shares the concerns of the community about the current state of the closed facility on Main Street.

“Robe Mayor Lisa Ruffell has contacted the owners of the site for a request to improve the tidiness of the premises,” Ms Traeger said.

“We are actively engaged with the property owners to ensure a satisfactory outcome is reached for the community.

“I also feel it is important to remind our community and visitors of the fuel options in Robe.

“For all fuel types, head to Robe Auto and Marine, and for diesel only, head to the K&S self-serve outlook opposite the council depot on Robe Street.”
