Small stableford field enjoys picture perfect conditions

Twelve women took to the Millicent Golf Club’s greens in perfect sunny weather conditions for a stableford event.

The women played two nine hole competitions as they were only able to utilise the first nine holes as the greens were getting cored on the back nine.

The first nine were played off the red tees and the second nine off the blue tees.

Glenis Skeer won the red tee competition with 17 points on countback from Val Williams and Annie Maclennan.

Nearest the pins went to Maclennan and Skeer.

Janet Watson dominated the blue tees, winning with 18 points from Helen Chilton and Debbie Tincknell.

Nearest the pins went to Williams and Janet Watson.
