Golf day teed up

The Mount Gambier Police are again running a charity golf day at the Blue Lake Golf Club on November 17 with all money raised donated to Foodbank SA.

Last year’s event raised $15,000 for the organisation and made history as the first fundraising event of its kind run by SAPOL in the Limestone Coast for over 15 years.

There is a raffle with great prizes that will be drawn on the day with tickets now available for purchase at the Mount Gambier Police Station and the Blue Lake Golf Club.

The main event is now fully booked, however the mini golf course will be open and a long putt challenge ($5 entry) will be operating at the club house on the day with a putter and a night’s accommodation to give away.

The clubhouse will be open all day, with a party hole also set up with bar facilities.

All are invited to come and have a drink on the deck or party hole, try and win some prizes and help raise money for Foodbank SA.
