Division 1
Uniting v West Gambier
Uniting will take on West Gambier this Saturday in round two of the grand final rematch at Corriedale Park as this week’s Mount Gambier and District Tennis Association action is set to soar into 30-degree temperatures.
Uniting are coming off another big win last week while West will be fresh and ready after the bye.
Last time these sides played it was a close battle with Uniting getting the slight edge over West.
On the men’s side, a couple of match ups to watch will be the bottom doubles of Uniting’s Jace Maxwell and Kobe Cole.
Maxwell and Cole have been a dominant force this season in the bottom doubles and whatever combination West throws at them they will be sure to face it head on.
On the ladies side a match to watch will be the top doubles of Uniting’s Tessa Megaw and Ashlea Dunn and West’s Jess Stutley and Emily Jolley.
Both pairs have been very solid so far this season with neither of them losing yet.
Like the first match this one will definitely go down to the wire given how competitive these sides are.
Reidy Park v Glencoe
Reidy Park will take on Glencoe at Olympic Park this Saturday.
Reidy are coming off a big win against the Div 1 combined side while Glencoe suffered a tough loss to Uniting.
Last time these sides played Reidy came away with a thrilling win, beating Glencoe by six games.
Both sides are in need of a win to bolster their ladder positions as Reidy look to keep their spot in the top two while Glencoe aim to move up.
A great match up to watch in this game will be the men’s top doubles of Glencoe’s Dylan Childs and Reidy’s Zayne Young and Dane Heemskerk.
Both pairs have looked great this season with the Glencoe duo still undefeated.
This will be a high powered tennis match as both sides are really good at putting some pace on the ball in their serves and rallies.
I would not be surprised if this game goes into a third set.
Like last time this match up will likely once again go down to the wire as both sides battle it out for an important victory.
Division 2
In Division 2 there is a top of the table clash as Mount Gambier take on Suttontown/Glencoe at Gambier.
Last time these sides played Gambier got the win 7-5 but they are coming off a tough loss last week to West Gambier Blue while the combined side should be feeling confident as they are coming off a win over West Gambier Red.
The two Wests will face off as Red and Blue battle each other at West.
West Blue got the win last time, winning 9-3.
West Red will be hungry for the win and the bragging rights as they are yet to come away with a win this season.
Division 3
In Division 3 Uniting will take on Centrals/Mount Schank.
Last time the sides played the combined side had a big win.
The combined side will be out for a win to help hold their spot at the top of the ladder while a Uniting win will help them move up a rung as they sit in fourth.
Mount Gambier will take on Mil Lel at Gambier on Saturday.
This is an important match for both sides as Mil Lel sit in second and Gambier sits third.
Both are in solid form with big wins last week which should make for an exciting match.
Ladies Doubles
In ladies doubles West Gambier will take on Mount Schank at West as West look to get back into first place while the two Mil Lel sides will face off in Mil Lel with Green looking for their first win while White looks to get another under their belt.

In mixed doubles Suttontown will host Mount Gambier Blue with Moorak Grey taking on Glencoe in Moorak while Moorak Green will go up against Mount Schank at Mount Schank.
