Astaffing crisis appears to have been avoided at Boneham Aged Care Services at Millicent.
Its 145 staff support the 110 residents with management previously stating employees were working extra shifts to cover COVID-related staff absences.
However, chief executive Michael Filsell said the situation has improved.
“Our staffing levels are holding up at the moment with a number of staff now returned to work after becoming close contacts or catching COVID over the Christmas holidays,” Mr Filsell said.
“We will still move to sign up volunteers interested in becoming emergency support volunteers just in case of an outbreak, but we remain hopeful we will never need to call them in.”
