In a first for the Mount Gambier Gift foot race, the South Australian Athletic League will co-host the event with the Victorian Athletic League.

The Mount Gambier community is set to witness an unprecedented sporting spectacle as the South Australian and Victorian Athletic Leagues join forces to host this year’s Mount Gambier Gift Carnival.

Scheduled to take place at Vansittart Park on November 25, this collaboration promises to showcase the very best athletic talent from both states.

In addition to promoting athletic excellence, the carnival will offer an opportunity for residents to come together and show their support for both local talent and visiting athletes.

Event Manager Natasha Little said alongside the intense competition, attendees can look forward to a festive atmosphere, and various food and beverage options, ensuring a memorable experience for the entire family.

“We are thrilled to host this ground-breaking event, which will bring together the athletic prowess of South Australia and Victoria,” she said.
