Authors share stage at Mount Gambier Library

The Mount Gambier Library’s first time hosting of a double author event proved popular and is sure to be repeated.

On stage were former Tantanoola resident and rural romance writer Maya Linnell along with historical fiction writer Darry Fraser.

Ms Linnell has been involved with such author talks in the Blue Lake city in the past.

“Once again, Mount Gambier Library made it an excellent event, with readers coming from across the Limestone Coast,” Ms Linnell said.

“Host Kristi Brooks did a wonderful job interviewing both Darry and I, which made it a really engaging discussion.

“It was lovely to meet with local book lovers, hear their thoughts on the stories, share the research and writing process, and sign their novels.

“We met at a Sydney writing conference in 2018, and collectively, we have had almost a dozen books published since then.”

While in the region, Ms Fraser also delivered talks at the public libraries at Millicent and Naracoorte.
