The Barry Maney Group has won big, taking home a truckload of awards at the Hino Dealership of the Year Awards.

The local car and truck dealership won the Hino President’s Award, No. 1 Customer Experience Award – Regional Dealer and recognition of 35 years as a Hino dealer.

The ceremony was attended by Barry Maney Group Hino sales consultant Mike Bias-Ivetti at Sanctuary Cove in Queensland.

Barry Maney Group truck sales manager Rob Angus said the company was particularly excited to win the President’s Award.

“The President’s Award is awarded to dealers who finish top three in their dealer category nationally,” he said.

“We have got a couple of awards here and there (in previous years) but the President’s Award is the big one so whilst we did not finish Dealer of the Year, we’re in the top three.

“We’re obviously a podium, niche dealership for our dealer category and it’s not really by any particular area geographically, it’s just a group of dealers that are similar in size and sell a similar amount of trucks.

“Basically, it means that we performed exceedingly well in all areas of the business which is sales, service and spare parts.”

The No. 1 customer experience award – regional dealer was earned by Barry Maney Group for maintaining a perfect score for the entire 2022 calendar year for its customer satisfaction ratings.

Mr Angus said it was an honour and a privledge for the dealership to be recognised on a national level in front of their peers.

“More importantly it demonstrates our [Barry Maney Group] ethos of it’s nice to go to someone who cares,” he said.
