The Mount Gambier Italian Pensioner Association held its annual bocce tournament at Casadio Park recently.

The event was hailed a success with 39 pensioners attending. At the conclusion of the day, trophies were presented over dinner held by Luiggina Bresolin and bocce director Frank Capriott, who thanked players, referees and supporters for attending.

The event was won by Tony Milani, Rose Iarossi and Peggy Moretti. Runners up were Austin Rossi, Lucy Rossi and Rosella Bidese, while Angelo Bueti, Linda McRobert and Pasquale Dicesare finished third.
