Bowls COVID caution

Millicent Bowls Club 2-4-2, 17th November 2022

Millicent Bowls Club’s 2-4-2 competition attracted lower numbers last week, mainly due to COVID concerns.

Some players were a little nervous coming out to play, with only 16 players taking to the green for 20 ends of bowls.

The winning team was Terry Barnes and Jim Campbell with a score of 34+18, taking home $16 each.

Runners-up, with a score of 33+5, was the team of Lorraine Hyland and John Scudds, who won the $5 bar vouchers.

Other winning teams were John Eldridge and Iain Campbell 32+9 and Malcolm Wright and Eddie Hann 30+10.
