Alocal campaign led by Luv Saturdays and the Globe Hotel is currently under way to get ARIA award winning singer Tones and I to perform in Mount Gambier.
Tones and I has been performing rural pop up shows in Albury, Echuca and Coffs Harbour largely off the back of support from locals.
Luv Saturdays and Luv Entertainment owner Jaydon Stiles works with about 20 venues across the nation to bring them the best talent from around Australia.
Mr Stiles was instrumental in encouraging Tones and I to perform at Beer Deluxe Albury and the Echuca Hotel.
Mr Stiles said he supports the ‘Dance Monkey’ singer coming to the Blue Lake city and said it would be great for the town.
In a video posted to Facebook, Tones and I said where she goes is up to the support of locals.
“If people are speaking up for their towns and everyone’s getting on board and your town wants a show we will put one there,” she said.
“If you guys want us to come to your city or your town just tell us and if you guys put in the work then we’ll show up.
“It does not matter where it is, if the town is going to show up for us we will show up for the town.”
The Globe Hotel’s Facebook post announcing the campaign has received onearly 300 comments and over 200 reactions.

Things are looking good for local fans with Tones and I responding to a question on her Instagram story on Sunday asking how soon Mount Gambier could expect a show with “Real soon”.
