Limestone Coast businesses and residents are expected to take part in several events as part of the State Government’s Country Cabinet visit to the region later this week.
As part of the visit, the Department for Industry, Innovation and Science will host an Advanced Manufacturing Industry Roundtable in the Coonawarra on Thursday morning.
The roundtable discussion will provide manufacturing businesses in the Limestone Coast with an opportunity to seek real-world advice and engage with an expert on manufacturing and innovation as well as an opportunity to engage in an open discussion with other manufacturers and industry experts on the opportunities and challenges in the region.
A Business Strategy, Digital Marketing and Social Media Capability Session will be held for small businesses in the Limestone Coast region looking to take their business to the next level.
Pit Stop Marketing Managing Director and Digital Marketing Strategist Georgi Roberts will lead an interactive session on developing effective business strategies and establishing a strong digital marketing presence that will help businesses thrive in the current market.
The session will be held at the Naracoorte Hotel on Thursday afternoon.
Later on Thursday there will be a Country Cabinet Community barbecue and forum, where those attending will be able to join Premier Peter Malinauskas and Cabinet Ministers to discuss issues in the region.
The barbecue will start at 5pm, with the community forum to run from 6pm to 7.30pm in Naracoorte High School’s Williamson Hall.
