The first South East circuit for 2024 of the District Court will commence at the Mount Gambier Courthouse today.
The published list shows there will be proceedings against 21 persons and most of the cases relate to alleged crimes of a sexual nature.
Bail had been granted at earlier hearings for 11 of the alleged offenders with the remainder currently in gaol.
