Grant District Council’s second round of the 2020-21 Community Grant Scheme has opened.

The scheme is a funding opportunity for community groups to develop projects and events that enhance community well-being and increase participation in social and leisure activities.

Financial support is available through three categories including Halls ($1000), Sporting Clubs ($800) and Community Groups ($2500).

In 2019-20 the council received applications for various projects to the value of $40,000, ranging from new equipment and supplies for sporting clubs to maintenance and repairs at local halls.

Successful projects from Round 1 must be acquitted before a new application can be considered for this round.

Applications close on December 11.
