Community to shape future

Community members in Naracoorte and surrounding areas are invited to have their say in the planning of future health services at the Naracoorte Health Service.

Community members are invited to share their views about the services they feel will be most important in the future, their experiences with public health services, as well as any current barriers to accessing these services.

Insights from listening to the community will form part of the foundation of two planning workshops that will be held in the coming months.

Feedback can be submitted via an online form, via email or via a phone conversation with a member of the planning team.

Submissions are open until May 31.

A small local advisory group is leading the service planning process and includes representation from local health service staff, the Naracoorte Area Health Advisory Council, medical representation, and staff from the Rural Support Service.

The advisory group are working together with a range of staff and partner organisations to develop a service plan for Naracoorte Health Service for the next five to 10 years.

The planning process is expected to be complete by October 2023.
