Council wraps up business

Anumber of tenders are expected to be finalised when Wattle Range Council holds an extraordinary meeting in Millicent on Monday (September 5).

In line with the 68 other councils across South Australia, Monday is the last day for such major decisions to be taken before the caretaker provisions take effect on the following day.

The agenda for the special meeting is set to be released to the public by Wattle Range Council in the coming days.

It will still hold its regular monthly meetings on September 13 and October 11.

All councils will stay in caretaker mode until around mid-November on account of the upcoming four-yearly council elections.
