Country delight starts centenary celebration

Entertainer Brian Letton will take to the stage of the Rendelsham Community Hall on February 16 to commence the centenary celebrations of the venue.

It is the first live entertainment at Rendelsham since the Millicent Choral Society presented a Pleasant Sunday Afternoon several months ago.

Brian has received a warm reception whenever he has played at Rendelsham over many years.

Dubbed the Sunset National Tour, tickets for the $30 per-head evening concert are available at the door or by phoning Lyn Brooks on 0427 354240.

Born in Port Lincoln, Brian was raised on his parent’s farming property at Ravensthorpe in Western Australia.

Brian has worked at several jobs, including builder, welder, truck driver, farrier, horse breaker and trainer.

In 1989, Brian began his professional career as a full-time entertainer, after a decade working as a part time musician with various local bands.

Over the past 35 years, Brian has achieved great success as both a concert and recording artist.
