The final South East circuit for 2023 of the District Court will commence at the Mount Gambier Courthouse on October 9.

The published list shows there will be proceedings against 18 persons and several of the cases relate to alleged crimes of a sexual nature.

Three persons stand accused of committing theft using force.

Bail had been granted at earlier hearings for the majority of the alleged offenders with the remainder currently in gaol.
