Driver flees rural crash scene

Police are seeking dashcam footage following a vehicle rollover on Friday at Tantanoola.

At about 6.10am, emergency services responded to reports of a vehicle rollover on the Princes Highway near the Tantanoola cemetery and the Kennedy Road T-junction.

When emergency services arrived on scene, they located a red Holden Commodore with collision damage but were not able to locate the driver.

Witnesses advised the male driver had exited the vehicle and was seen walking around.

Police have ascertained the man was given a lift by a passing vehicle to Mount Gambier and that he appeared to be uninjured.

Investigations are continuing to identify the driver and police ask anyone with information or dashcam of the incident to contact Crime Stoppers online at crimestopperssa.com.au or free call 1800 333 000.
