Adrink driver has lost his licence for six months after crashing into a pub at Robe in the early hours of Thursday morning.

Police were called to a collision in Morphett Street, Robe about 2.20am.

A car had failed to negotiate a corner and crashed into a pole supporting the front verandah of a hotel, causing damage to both the car and the verandah.

The driver, a 26-year-old man from Robe, recorded a blood alcohol reading of 0.146 – nearly three times the legal limit.

He was reported for aggravated driving without due care and drink driving.

He was issued with a six-month immediate loss of licence and will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
