Anumber of defendants charged with driving offences faced the Mount Gambier Magistrates Court last week presided over by Auxiliary Magistrate Teresa Anderson.
A Tarpeena man was convicted of driving with prescribed alcohol with a child under 16 present.
He was stopped by police on the Riddoch Highway in Tarpeena on July 27 at 9.47pm and recorded a BAC of 0.094 with a 14-year-old in the vehicle.
The man was issued with a six month licence disqualification backdated to the date of the offence and a $900 fine.
A Limestone Coast woman was convicted of drink driving after being pulled over by police on Pick Avenue in Mount Gambier on June 28 around 5pm and recording a BAC of 0.132.
She was issued with a six month loss of licence backdated to the date of the offence and a $900 fine.
A South East man was convicted of driving a motor vehicle with cannabis in his oral fluid and therefore contravening a condition of a probationary licence after being pulled over by police on at 10.27pm on May 31.
He was issued with a six month licence disqualification to commence on October 1 and a $900 fine.
